Hilton is a small town that lies on the brow of the escarpment above Pietermaritzburg in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. In 1872 the Reverend WO Newnham opened Hilton College here, one of South Africas leading private schools. Hilton is the Gateway to the famous Midlands Meander, and is the starting point of many of the Old Battlefield Tours
