Mooi River is a little town at the most northern end of the Midlands Meander
in Kwa Zulu Natal
Mooi is the Afrikaans word for pretty, and the Mooi
River is just that.
The Mooi River Toll Plaza is located just south of the town on the N3 highway
that connects Johannesburg
to Durban.
Tourists must please plase take cash as only certain credit cards and petrol
cards are accepted.
To refuel there is a large Engen Garage and Wimpy, take the exit (extreme
left hand lane) off the Toll Gate.
