Kamberg has an excellent Rock art experience which includes a short audio visual presentation and a 1½ hour guided hike up to the bushman paintings, an explanation of the ancient art which has famed our Drakensberg and then a 40 minute walk back, the whole expereince will take about 3 hours. Highmoor nature reserve has some very beautiful walks, and if you are really into hiking, then Giants Castle offers fantastic hikes as well as a 45 minute guided walk to view San rock art and a bushmen freeze.
