Slievyre Game Farm is ideally situated in the Midlands, not far off the N3 approx midway between Johannesburg and Durban

Set in the beautiful bushlands of Natal , 10kms from Estcourt and the N3; Slievyre – A private nature reserve provides the perfect place for family reunions, quiet holidays, romantic getaways or just an overnight stop.
The camp sits in one hectare and consists of five traditionally built stone and thatch chalets. The camp comfortably sleeps twenty five people and extra beds can be arranged if required. Three of the chalets are twin/double, one sleeps three people with the fifth being a six bed family chalet. All have shower rooms and the kitchens are equipped with all self catering facilities.
Fresh bedding and towels are provided for every guest and the chalets are cleaned daily.
Two lapa’s adjoin the chalets, both have tables and chairs and built-in braai fires, they are cleaned daily and the firewood is restocked
Slievyre extends to approx 1 000ha (2500 acres) and is classified as bushfeld. Whilst out walking or driving on the farm, animals you will encounter include Giraffe, Kudu, Waterbuck, Zebra, Wildebeest & numerous smaller antelope. The farm is also home to more than 200 species of birds.
Guests are welcome to fish free of charge, just bring your tackle! All residential guests are welcome to join us for a game drive. Game drives are extra
